Guz Architects completed the design and development of a spectacular tropical bungalow-inspired residence in Singapore. Obeying the architects’ creative rush induced by the Fish House and the Sun Residence, Dalvey Road House displays an exotic vibe, with nature playing the lead role in the design scheme. The challenging triangular site with sloping terrain and a narrow entrance was the client’s dream location for a tropical hideaway.

Inspired by her visit to Fallingwater (by Frank Lloyd Wright), the owner commissioned Guz Architects to develop a startling contemporary home According to the official description, this house “is very much in keeping with the spirit of Fallingwater, whose design seamlessly integrates nature into the home. Just as Fallingwater’s stair shaped cantilevers emphasized its horizontal features, Guz used the different levels to stratify the different generations of the family living under one roof“.
